Access
A student licence without the fine print
With proof of enrolment, access is free and renews every academic year. It does not expire mid-semester, and nothing has to be reinstalled to keep going.
Class
Classes and assignments
The teacher creates the class, hands out exercises and collects the work. No student has to request an individual licence or configure anything new.
Material
Guides ready to use
One step-by-step guide per tool, in the same format as the program's own help. The student follows inside Plare, without jumping to an external manual.
How to set up a class
The request comes from the teacher, once. Students join with their school email and are ready to go.
- 1
Request
The teacher requests education access with proof of affiliation with the institution.
- 2
Class
Create the class and invite the students. Each activates their licence with their school email — no card, no trial period.
- 3
Exercises
Hand out the guides per tool and follow the submitted projects. The files are the same ones the student has on disk.
- 4
Renewal
The following academic year, the class renews without repeating the original request or rebuilding the student list.
Frequently asked questions
- What documents do I need for access?
- Proof of enrolment or of affiliation with the teaching institution. Nothing beyond that, and nothing kept after it has been validated.
- Does Plare run on the school's computers?
- Yes. It needs 8 GB of RAM and no dedicated graphics card — it was built for ordinary laptops, not for a workstation.
- Does Plare keep the students' work?
- No. It stays on the student's disk in the .plare format, which opens without the program. The teacher receives only the file handed in.
