Coming from Revit or AutoCAD, without starting from zero

The geometry you already have comes into Plare. The work is not lost, and nobody redraws a whole project just to change programs.

Import

IFC 4 and DXF, taken seriously

Plare opens IFC 4 and imports DXF. Walls, slabs and openings arrive as elements with thickness and material — not as a tangle of lines to redraw.

Assisted

A pilot project, not a leap

We take a real project from your team, convert it and show what came through well and what needs adjustment. The decision is made with the result in front of you.

No cage

The file is yours

A .plare file opens without the program. It is not locked to a format only we can read — if you ever want to leave, you leave with the work.

How a migration runs

It starts with an honest diagnosis, not a demo. Whatever does not convert well, we say before selling.

  1. 1

    Diagnosis

We look at where the work comes from: DWG, RVT, IFC or the company's own families. Each source has a different path.

  2. 2

    Pilot

We convert a real project and measure what came through well and what needs manual adjustment — with numbers, not promises.

  3. 3

    Team

Training for the drafters and a block library aligned with the company's own, so the first real project is not also the first test.

  4. 4

    Production

The next project comes out of Plare. Nobody keeps two projects in parallel just to preserve the history.

Frequently asked questions

Does it open DWG or RVT directly?
Not natively — that is a licensing decision, not a technical limitation. The path is conversion from IFC or DXF, and that is exactly what the pilot measures.
Do I lose families and blocks?
Blocks come into the library. Complex parametric families may need manual adjustment; that is precisely the point the pilot project quantifies before you decide.
How long does it take?
A pilot project takes days, not months. A full team migration depends on the volume of work and the number of people involved.

Draw your first project

A tool that treats the plan like a technical document, and a Copilot that gets the tedious part of drawing it out of the way.
