Offset
Create a parallel copy of a line or wall.
⚠ This tool doesn't draw yet. It exists in the bar, it has a key and it has a card — but the behaviour described below is the designed one, and it arrives in a future version.
Step by step
- Choose Offset and click the element.
- Drag to the side where the copy should go.
- Or type the exact distance and press Enter.
Worth knowing
- The copy is parallel to the original: angles and curves are preserved.
- Works on walls, lines and closed polygons.
- To create a 15 cm thick wall, offset the exterior one 15 cm inwards.
